5 Add Ons you should consider for your Wedding Photography package

When it comes to choosing your wedding photography package there are so many different options to choose between and figuring out what fits your wedding day is important. So here I’m going to go through 5 things that I think you should consider adding to your wedding photography package to make sure you get the most out of your coverage.

Firstly, hi, I’m Charlie! I’m a Bristol based wedding photographer in South West England, I’ve had the absolute privilege of photographing weddings across England & Wales over the last 4 years and I love bringing you useful tips & recommendations to help you have the best day possible.

  1. Second Shooter

Starting off with the most important add on in my opinion… a second photographer. So what is a “second shooter”? They are another photographer that is hired by me to be a second set of eyes. It’s impossible to be everywhere at once on a wedding day when there’s so much going on, so while I’m doing group photos they’ll be capturing candids of your guests, while I’m with one of you during morning prep they’ll be with your partner, they’ll get one angle of you walking down the aisle while I get another. The list goes on.

I recommend adding on a second shooter for any wedding over 100 guests, or if you’ve added on film photography. Or just generally if you have a lot going on and candid photos are top of your list. If you have any questions then just ask me and we can chat it through!

  2. Film Photography

The rise of analogue photography is something that I’ve totally loved seeing recently in the wedding industry. The quality & feel of film is so unique that it works really well alongside a digital gallery to give a more striped back, timeless feel. I offer an analogue film photo package alongside my digitals so that you can have the best of both - fun, vibrant digitals and tonal, grainy film.

  3. Extra Hours

Having a party that starts early and carries on way into the night? Tag on some extra hours to tell the story of your day from start to finish. My packages are based off the most popular timings, but every wedding is unique, so let’s create something bespoke that works for you & all the epic plans you have!

  4. Albums & Prints

I absolutely love seeing photos printed, it feels like how they should always be viewed. Living in a vastly digital age means that printing your photos can become an after thought, but if you factor it in to your package costs prior to the wedding then choosing your album design post-wedding becomes such an exciting way of going through all the memories that’ve been captured.

I use a printing studio based in the UK that specialise in the highest quality products and paper from your albums & prints, which means that you know your photos will come out looking true to tone and last for decades.

  5. Engagement Session

I know that a lot of couples can feel daunted by the prospect of having their photos taken during their wedding so an engagement session brilliant way to put you at ease by taking an hour out just the two of you. These sessions are fun, tailored to a location that suits you and you get a gallery full of photos to use in the lead up to the wedding.

Or you can use this time to capture an engagement party, a wedding rehearsal or hen & stag dos. 20% off when booked with your wedding package.

So there you have it, 5 add ons that will make your wedding day coverage more unique to you and that will give your wedding photos a more bespoke feeling. If you have any questions about any of the add ons and whether they’re right for you just feel free to get in touch!
