My Ceremony Package is perfect for smaller weddings, just like the chic micro wedding of Frida and Min. They chose to have an intimate ceremony in the Lantern Room at Bristol Registry Office ahead of their big wedding in China next year and invited me along to capture their super stylish day. This is a great example of what could be achieved with your micro wedding gallery but, as always, I tailor what and when we shoot to what you’d like to capture. Prior to the ceremony of Frida and Min’s big day, we shot some initial couple portraits on the characterful streets of Bristol, including Corn Street and the iconic St Nicholas Markets. They chose the decadent and regal Lantern Room for their ceremony, which is decorated with rich cream and gold tones. The perfect backdrop for this super stylish couple. After the ceremony they had a super fun yet traditional confetti exit surrounded by their nearest and dearest, on the stone clad steps of the Bristol Registry Office.
We followed the ceremony with some more intimate, traditional couple portraits of the newlyweds in Castle Park before heading to their reception venue. They chose Klosterhaus as the host to their reception, a destination restaurant and bar with a modern take on a grand cafe. Frida, Min and their wonderful guests enjoyed drinks in the courtyard and followed by a delicious dinner.
Frida had a change of dress at the reception. From a stunning silk and lace ceremony gown she slipped into a slinky open back number that matched the venue perfectly. Such a wonderful way to make a statement at your intimate wedding but also gives you the opportunity to set the tone of the event.
