City Elopement at Bath Guildhall and Parade Gardens | Bath, Bristol & Cotswolds Photographer
An impromptu elopement, in the beautiful city of Bath with a stylish edge and a very relaxed vibe.
It’s no surprise that Bath is up there with one of the most picturesque & striking cities in England, with it’s landmark buildings like the Royal Crescent & Bath Abbey, its quaint cobble streets and the beautiful parks & green areas, there aren’t many places more instantly recognisable. So when Rebecca contacted me under two months before they were due to get married, to say that they’d decided to turn their mini break into a wedding as well, I was stoked that Bath was going to be the backdrop for their intimate day.
The Bath Guildhall is the setting for the registry office, and has such a grand exterior right in the centre of town and next to the famous Bath Abbey. Rebecca & Alex didn’t stick to tradition, instead opting for a stylish, minimalist look for their morning ceremony, with a beautiful, English flower bouquet, homemade polymer rings & Yves Saint Laurent heart sunglasses.
Directly opposite the Guildhall is one of Baths best loved coffee shops, Society Cafe, and after Rebecca & Alex left the registry office they made a quick stop before heading off for couple portraits and a wander around Parade Gardens.
