Bristol Elopement Photographer | Statement bouquet & untraditional touches
Natalia and Peter's Bristol elopement was a truly intimate and unforgettable morning. With only Peter's children and grandchildren as witnesses, the couple focused on their day being relaxed, fun and filled with some epic wedding details. They chose to begin their day at Bristol's Underfall Yard, a stunning location along the harbour side offering a view of the boat yard and harbour as well as all the stunning red brick buildings and old iron work. They sipped their coffee and enjoyed breakfast baps before capturing some beautiful couple portraits against the dramatic backdrop, with Natalia in her beautiful blue & pink dress topped with blue coat (because it was April after all) and the most amazing Awon Golding veil complete with iridescent jewels in heart shapes around her eyes. Peter was in a tailored blue suit, and they had the vision that they wanted a shared bouquet for their wedding, not just for Natalia but one that could be used by them both and to double up as as centre piece at the Registry Office. I mean where do I even start, this bouquet is pure joy & art combined!!
Next, Natalia and Peter boarded a boat that would take them along the river to Old Town where they walked to Bristol Registry Office to get married. It’s only the second time I’ve been on a boat on a wedding day but what a way to travel! It was so lovely being able to see the city from the river, and felt like a bit of calm to what can sometimes be a chaotic time of day. Each of Peters daughters also had a veil similar to Natalia’s to go with the vision for the day, which was less traditional & more about a family-led celebration that made everyone there feel special, including the grandkids who all loved being a part of the day.
This Bristol city elopement was so stylish and bold, it suited everything about Natalia & Peters own personalities and paid homage to all their favourite things & most important people! Truly a testiment to this couples stylish vision & desire to throw tradition to wind.
