Bride & Groom in Bristol during their wedding at The Forge wedding venue

If there’s one thing Helen & Clive proved, it’s that small weddings can have huge vibes. Their intimate micro wedding in the centre of Bristol was everything, packed with style and a whole lot of fun.

Helen & Clive tied the knot in Bristol’s city centre registry office, surrounded by just their closest family. Keeping it small doesn’t mean skipping the details though—Helen looked absolutely stunning in a modern two-piece from The Own Studio. Picture this: a silk slip dress with delicate pearls, paired with a puff-sleeve wrap top that gave a nod to classic elegance while still feeling fresh and fun. Clive was every bit her match in a bold green suit, bringing all the personality and colour to the day. Together? Absolute style goals.

After the “I dos” and some epic portraits around the city, they strolled over to Wapping Wharf for a cosy family meal at Box E - one of Bristol’s gems packed with charm, nestled in converted shipping containers overlooking the docks. It was the perfect spot for their laid-back lunch.

But this wasn’t just a day for intimate family moments—Helen & Clive knew how to throw a party too! After their daytime celebrations, they headed over to The Forge, nestled in the heart of the city, for their evening reception with friends. The Forge is modern, spacious, and effortlessly cool—just like this couple—and it was the perfect backdrop for their relaxed party vibes.

The room was filled with laughter, music, and (let’s be honest) some excellent dance moves as Helen & Clive celebrated their marriage surrounded by all their friends. The contrast between the intimate family day and the lively evening bash gave their wedding the best of both worlds.

Why Micro Weddings can be the best of both worlds

Helen & Clive’s day was a reminder that weddings don’t have to be huge to be special. By focusing on what mattered most—time with their loved ones, great food, and a relaxed celebration—they created a day that was uniquely them.

It’s proof that a micro wedding doesn’t mean sacrificing style or fun. Instead, it’s all about the details: a stunning dress, a standout suit, incredible food, and an epic party to finish it all off.
