Vibrant Engagement Photos in Stokes Croft | Bristol wedding photographer
Are you ready for a what an engagement session through the vibrant streets of Bristol looks like?
Amber & Jordan are getting married in summer 2024 and I’m so excited to be their wedding photographer, in the lead up to the big day they decided to take a bit of time out of planning to have an engagement session in Stokes Croft in Bristol. Known for its atmosphere and colourful streets, it provided the perfect backdrop for our session. From alleys filled with graffiti to cozy coffee shops, it doesn’t take long to find cool, colourful backdrops in the area, and trust me we found PLENTY!
As we met early on a Saturday, it felt right to make a little pit stop at their favourite coffee shop, The Crafty Egg, nestled in the centre of Stokes Croft. I always think it’s a nice touch to go somewhere familiar or do things you’d usually do, like grab a coffee, to put you at ease at the start of the session, it gives you the chance to chat & keep your focus off the camera.
Engagement shoots aren't just about capturing beautiful photos… it's a great excuse to take some time out together to enjoy the lead up to your wedding, and it helps you feel more relaxed in front of the camera on the wedding day because you KNOW it's not as scary as you think.
So, to all the couples out there planning their big day, I encourage you to consider an engagement shoot in your favourite corner of the world. Whether it's amidst the vibrant streets of Bristol or the serene beauty of the countryside, let it be reflective of you!
As for Amber and Jordan, their engagement shoot was just the beginning. After sharing what they have planned for their wedding during the session, I cannot wait to be there to photograph their wedding too & to share it with you. Bring on summer!
